We are trying to close assets for fiscal year 2008 and facing problems when using ajrw. Below is example of repeat run for 1 of the 500 assets.
There are transactions in 2008 wherein value date is 01/15/08, posting date is 03/06/08 wherein there are transaction type -110 and reversal of the entry on same day. When i execute Afar the below is displayed Error 2-"Depreciation not posted completely" we have run repeat run afab in test mode and found that the assets -500 assets are showing difference in ordinary depreciation between planned and posted depreciation , The posted depreciation is more than the planned depreciation for these assets .?
A couple of key points in regards to changing the base unit of measure are: Other documentation may also need to be “cleaned up” before the base unit of measure can be changed. Open Sales Order, Deliveries, Transfer Orders, etc.) If documents exist that need “cleaned up” they will be displayed in the error log when you try to change the base unit of measure via transaction MM02.
When stock exists the only time to make the base unit of measure change is at period end.
Main number 41.59 The total of the difference in repeat run matches to the report of ajab where the message for assets is "Dep not posted completely ".
If the material is salable or processed with WM transactions a lot more document types could be listed.
Also the longer a material has existed in SAP then the more documents that will be listed under each document type.
This may go against what an “Expert” has told you and truth is there does come a point when the base unit of measure is almost impossible to change.
But this truly depends on how much the material is used in SAP.
